Gowanus Expressway Biennial Bridge Inspection

This Gowanus Expressway Biennial Bridge Inspection included structural inspection for fracture critical and non-redundant members, and fatigue prone details of multi-stringer/girder steel bridge. The safety inspection for the bridge included:

• Under-deck concrete inspection, and
• The top of the bridge safety inspection, which included sidewalk, bridge railing, and bridge approaches for pedestrians and vehicular traffic.

SIMCO also verified bridge plans and cross sections, and prepared detailed structural flag reports.
