2005-2006 Biennial/Interim Bridge Inspection in Richmond and Kings Counties, NY

This biennial and interim bridge inspection included structural inspection for fracture critical and non-redundant members, and fatigue prone details of various types of steel bridges.

The scope of work included:

• Safety inspection for bridge under deck concrete and top of bridge  sidewalks, bridge plans and cross sections
• Checking load rating calculations
• Reviewing VIRTIS results to evaluate load bearing capacity of members
• Preparing detailed engineering reports
• Installing BIPPI and WINBOLTS updates for Team Leaders and QCE
• Coordinating with BIPPI and VIRTIS technical support, preparing BIPPI and load rating submissions
