NYSDOT 2008-2009 Construction Inspection for Recharge Basin Reconditioning, Suffolk County, NY

SIMCO, as a subconsultant, provided construction management service for improvements, which included reconditioning of recharge basin. The scope entailed:

• Construction of embankments
• Trimming trees
• Bottom scarification and removal of silt build-up
• And re-grading and/or re-establishing side slopes to proper grades

Head walls and drainage outlet pads were repaired, pipes cleaned, and erosion control added as needed.

Existing fencing and gates repaired as necessary, and access roadways repaired and cleared of vegetation and debris.
